To encourage more people to use public transport, blue light workers should get subsidised transport, nhs workers for example have to pay for their own parking<br />Veterans and active members of the armed forces have railcards so why not some of the worlds largest employers?

Don’t understand why workers of NHS have to pay for parking. I don’t get charged parking to do my office job, the job I am paid by my employer likewise the staff who work for the NHS shouldn’t be charged for parking.

I agree 100%, because our start time is from 7.00 am on a 12 hour shift, and specially those 60+ of age returning to work to make ends meet, who have to travel by public transport cannot use our 60 plus Oyster card due to the terms and conditions the Government’s have set on travelling time.

Our NHS is important for all of us even for those who obtain some of their health care privately. The NHS is there for you too. Our NHS workers (especially the clinicians and nursing staff) give freely their own time, often running into 100s of hours, if not 1000s, to provide a service for those in need as part of their professional sense of vocation and duty. They should therefore be honoured by free parking since being find for overstaying parking time while attending a patient in need or in theatre is immoral. Hospital parking is often now provided by profit-making organisations including large corporate organisations and making money out of loyal professionals caring for their fellow man, woman or child is not justifiable. In addition subsidised public transport travel should be provided for such essential working members of our community.

Absolutely. Why is it the NHS workers are last to receive such benefits. It would save a lot of us a lot of money

NHS workers like myself should be given these as most travel a lot back and forth wasting a lot of money because of trains
